Shipping and Delivery Policy

Highlife Cannabis offers delivery and curbside pick-up services from select store locations across Ontario. All delivery and pick-up services are conducted in full compliance with the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario (AGCO) Registrar's Standards, the Cannabis Licence Act, 2018, and all applicable provincial and federal regulations.

1. Delivery Service Overview

Highlife Cannabis offers direct delivery from participating store locations. Delivery availability varies by location, so please check with your selected store to confirm whether delivery is currently offered in your area.

All delivery orders must be placed with a specific Highlife Cannabis store location. Orders are fulfilled exclusively from that store's on-site inventory. We do not ship from a central warehouse or distribution centre.

2. Delivery Hours

In accordance with AGCO regulations, cannabis deliveries may only be completed between 9:00 a.m. and 11:00 p.m. daily. Orders placed outside of these hours will be processed and delivered during the next available delivery window.

3. Delivery Area

Delivery is available within Ontario only. Each store location services a specific delivery radius. Delivery areas may vary depending on the store's location, staffing, and local conditions.

Cannabis may only be delivered to a private residence or private place in Ontario (such as a hotel room or short-term rental). Deliveries cannot be made to public places, schools, parks, workplaces, or other restricted locations.

4. Age Verification at Delivery

All delivery recipients must be at least 19 years of age. A valid government-issued photo ID must be presented at the time of delivery. If the recipient appears to be under 25 years of age, our delivery staff are required to verify identification before completing the handoff.

If a valid ID cannot be presented or the recipient does not meet the age requirement, the delivery will not be completed. The order will be returned to the store, and you will be contacted regarding next steps.

5. Delivery Personnel

All deliveries are completed by Highlife Cannabis employees who have successfully completed AGCO-approved cannabis retail employee training (CannSell). In compliance with Ontario regulations, third-party delivery services are not used. This ensures the secure handling of your order from our store to your door.

6. Delivery Fees

A delivery fee may apply and will vary by store location and distance. Any applicable delivery fees will be clearly displayed at checkout before you confirm your order. Delivery fees are non-refundable unless the return is a result of an error on our part (such as an incorrect or missing product).

7. Payment

Full payment must be completed before delivery. Payment is accepted online or by phone at the time of order. Cannabis products will not be released for delivery until payment has been received and confirmed. We accept major credit cards and debit cards for online and phone orders. Accepted payment methods may vary by location.

8. Click-and-Collect / Curbside Pick-Up

Highlife Cannabis offers click-and-collect services at participating locations. Place your order online or by phone, complete payment, and pick up your order at the store.

At the time of pick-up, you must present a valid government-issued photo ID confirming you are at least 19 years of age. The person collecting the order must be the same individual who placed and paid for the order.

Curbside pick-up transactions are completed in an area adjacent to the store that is covered by the store's security surveillance system, in compliance with AGCO requirements. Pick-up is available during the store's regular operating hours, between 9:00 a.m. and 11:00 p.m.

9. Packaging

All cannabis products are delivered in their original, sealed, child-resistant packaging as required by Health Canada. Products are transported securely and discreetly. Contents are not visible from the exterior of any delivery packaging, in compliance with regulations designed to prevent access by minors.

10. Order Issues

If there is a problem with your delivery order (missing items, incorrect products, damaged packaging), please contact the store that fulfilled your order within 24 hours of receiving your delivery. You can also reach us by email at info@highlife.ca.

11. Restricted Delivery Areas

Delivery to First Nations communities is permitted unless the community has submitted a band council resolution (BCR) to the AGCO requesting that delivery be restricted. Highlife Cannabis complies with all such restrictions as communicated by the AGCO.
